Siggel (1950: 20): ﺑﺴﺪ /bussad/ "Koralle" (i.e. "coral"}

A variant vocalisation closer to Simon’s, i.e. /basad/ is mentioned in Dozy I: 83 s.v. ﺑﺴﺪ /bussad/ and in
Asín Palacios (1943: 87) s.v. CORULO – coral.
