Translation:

Bengi is Arabic for Latin iusquiamum {"henbane"}; Stephanus writes benegum.

Commentary:

Wehr (1976): ﺑﻨﺢ /banğ/ "henbane" (Hyoscyamus niger; bot.). Siggel (1950: 21): … ﺑﻨﺢ /banğ/ Hyoscyamus niger (Solanac.), Bilsenkraut {"henbane"}. [[1]].

Stephanus in his Breviarium writes: ysquiamos … begũ {probably misread from bengi > Latinised *bengum > *bẽgũ > *begũ [[2]]. Simon's form: benegum < *ben(e)gum.
