Casbor ABC f | Castor {or Cascor?} ms. e | Casbor l’ castor j

Translation:

Casbor is Arabic for Latin coriandrum {"coriander"}.

Commentary:

Karbstein (2002: 181), s.v. Koriander, lists a form close to Simon’s: ﻛﺯﺑﺮ /kazbur/ that was still used in Spain in the early 17th c. by the Morisco community.

Cf. Wehr (1976): ﻛﺯﺑﺭﺓ /kuzbara, kuzbura/ "coriander" (Coriandrum sativum L.; bot.), also: ﻛﺴﺒﺭﺓ /kusbara/ "coriander; (bot.)".
