Deteris dixit Dyascorides quod est gladiolus, capitulo de gladiolo.

Translation:

Deteris is the Latin gladiolus, Dyascorides said in his chapter De gladiolo {"On the gladiole"}.

Commentary:

Deteris is simply a lapsus calami which shows up in one codex for Dexeris. Dexeris q.v. itself is De xeris.
