Domomarea greci iusquiamum et milimadrum dicunt.

Translation:

Domomarea is a synonym the Greeks use for iusquiamus and milimadrum {"henbane"}.

Commentary:

Domomarea is a typical misreading for Demoniarea, with ‘e’ misread as ‘o’; ‘ni’ misread as ‘m’.

The lemma Domomarea is only listed in prints A and C and was probably never part of Simon’s original copy but is a late addition by some scribe(s) who did not know or did not recognise the word Demoniarea. Consequently it was not read and/or dictated properly and suffered some common misreadings to which words in medieval manuscripts are quite routinely subjected. The “new” {i.e. phantom} lemma Domomarea was then later added to a ms. or print that had already the correct lemma Demoniarea. But because the degree of corruption Demoniarea had suffered was too great the printers did not detect the identitity of Demoniarea and Domomarea, in spite of the texts of the two entries being virtually identical.
