Ema grece sanguis.

Ema AC ef | Ma B {initial capital missing}

In ms. f the next entry ematites is written as a continuation of this entry, i.e. Ema grece sanguis ematites ….

Translation:

Ema is Greek for Latin sanguis {"blood"}.

Commentary:

Classic Greek αἷμα /haîma/ "blood" had long lost its initial aspiration /h/ by Simon's time and the diphthong αι /ai/ was pronounced /e/ as in Modern Greek.
