Translation:
Emeros votani is Greek for Latin ortense olus {"garden herb/ vegetable"}, et cetera.
Commentary:
ἥμερος βοτάνη /hḗmeros botánē/ means lit. "cultivated herb or plant" for which Simon offers a Latin translation ortense olus.
ἥμερος /hḗmeros/ means "cultivated (plants); tame(d) (animals); civilised (humans)" (LSJ) and βοτάνη /botánē/ "pasture, fodder, herb" (LSJ).
Simon's Greek forms show a mixed pronunciation: /émeros/ is a Latin speaker's pronunciation instead of medieval Greek /ímeros/, but his votani, Classic Greek /botánē/, is clearly medieval with "β" {/b/} > /v/ and "η" {/ē/} > /i/, resulting in /votáni/. votani was misread by most witnesses as a superfluous notavi.
Latin hortense, Simon's form shows the late Latin and medieval loss of /h/, is the adjective to hortus with its basic meaning "garden".
Latin (h)olus means "kitchen or garden herbs of any kind; vegetables, esp. cabbage, colewort, turnips, greens", Lewis & Short (1879).
