Translation:

Hamam is "pigeon" in Arabic and dheker {"male"} means columbus {"male dove, cock pigeon"} in Latin.


Commentary:

Wehr (1976): ﺣﻣﺎﻡ /ḥamām/ "dove, pigeon"; Wehr (1976): ﺫﻛﺮ /ḏakar/ "male". ﺣﻣﺎﻢ ﺫﻛﺮ /ḥamām ḏakar/ "male pigeon".
