Translation:

Koriza is Greek meaning mucous discharge, especially from the nostrils.

Commentary:

Koriza:
Greek κόρυζα /kóryza/, itacist /kóriza/, means "mucous discharge from the nostrils, rheum; running at the nose" and "inflammatory nasal catarrh" (LSJ). The word occurs in the works of Galen and Hippocrates.

Coryza is still used in medical Latin defined as "a catarrhal inflammation of the mucous membrane in the nose due to either a cold or hay fever" Martin (1988)
