Licos grece lupus.

Apparatus:

Whole entry om. B ef

Translation:

Licos is Greek for Latin lupus {"wolf"}.

Commentary:

This entry is probably a later addition, which would explain its absence from witnesses B, e and f. It is simply a more Latinised transcription of likos, which represents Greek λύκος /lýkos/, here in its medieval itacist pronunciation /líkos/.
