Militis lithos is Greek for Latin molaris lapis {"mill-stone"}.


Commentary:

Greek μύλος /mýlos/ or μύλη /mýlē/ "mill" have an adjectival form: μυλίτης /mylítēs/, in the itacist pronunciation /milítis/, + λίθος /líthos/ "stone".
