In B: Notos grece dorsum appears twice, as an entry in its own right: Nocos gř. dorsũ, and again added on to a later entry: Nora ař. calx notos gř. dorsum. In ms. e Nothos grece dorsuʒ is added on to the entry Noticos.

Translation:

Notos is Greek for Latin dorsum {"the back"}.


Commentary:

Greek νῶτος /nôtos/ means "back of men and animals".
