Greek pneusis is Latin spiramen {"breathing"}, and pneuse means "to breathe, blow, puff".
Commentary:
Greek πνεῦσις /pneûsis/ means "blowing; breathing", and πνεῦσαι /pneûsai/ is the aorist infinitive active of πνέω /pnéō/ or πνέιω / pnéiō/ "to blow (of wind, air)", but also "to breathe".
