Translation:

Praton is Greek for Latin agens "doing, acting", faciens {"making"}, operans {"be busied"}.


Commentary:

πράττων /práttōn/ or πράττον /prátton/ are the pres. act. masc. or neut. participles < πράττω /práttō/ an Attic and Koine form meaning "to do, achieve; manage, practice".

Greek double consonants were no longer pronounced in Simon's time.
