Rasin arabice enula.

Apparatus:

In ms. e this entry is added on to the previous entry Rasienegi but its beginning is marked by "//" and Rasin is spelt with capital R.

arabice | i. {= idest} f

Translation:

Rasin is Arabic for Latin enula {"elecampane"}.

Commentary:

Siggel (1950: 37): ﺭﺍﺳﻥ, ﺭﺍﺳﺎﻥ /rāsan/ {and not transliterated: /rāsān/} "Wz. v. Inula Helenium (Comp.), Alant" {i.e. 'root of Inula Helenium, elecampane'}.

A vocalisation /rāsin/ which is closer to Simon’s is found in Asín Palacios (1943: 201): that Romance “ONOLYA CANPIENO”, i.e. “elecampane” is ﺭﺍﺳﻦ /rāsin/ in Arabic.
Also Renaud & Colin (1934: 156) in their comment to the /tuḥfat al-aḥbāb/, choose the same vocalisation: “356 Rāsin Grande Aunée; ici Ombellifère {i.e. “elecampane; here Umbelliferae”}.

The word is of Persian origin cf. Steingass (1892: 563): راسن rāsan Elecampane; juniper.
