Translation:
Yrudo {"leech"} is also called sanguisuga {"blood-sucker"} in Latin, in Greek it is bdella, but in Arabic it is halech.
Commentary:
Sanguisuga:
is a rare example of a genuine Latin compound noun, consiting of sanguis {“blood”} + a derivative of sugo {“to suck”} > “blood-sucker”.
