Translation:

Stephanus writes susanum for {Arabic} susen {"lily"}.


Commentary:

Stephanus in his Breviarium writes: krrinõ sufanũ albũ [[1]].
N.b. Greek κρίνον /krínon/ means “lily”, see Krimon;
Arabic ﺳﻮﺴﻦ /sūsan/ is given a Latinised ending: susan-um; sufanũ < susanũ with ‘sa’ misread as ‘fa’;
Latin album means "white".
