Tallion grece est ramus arboris.

Apparatus:

Tallion AC e | Talion B

Translation:

Tallion is the Greek word for Latin ramus arboris {"branch of a tree"}.

Commentary:

θαλλίον /thallíon/ is the diminutive of θαλλός /thallós/ "young shoot, young branch; (generally) branch". The word is not recorded with this meaning in LSJ but in Kriaras (1968-97) [[1]].
