Arabic text should be transcribed according to the guidelines of the Deutsche Morgenländische Gesellschaft. (Alif and ayn have been replaced with other characters, which are easier to read on a website.)

Spiritus asper should be transcribed as "h", γγ as "ng" and ου as "ou". Accents may be added where appropriate. Stigma: Ϛ
