Vari lenticule ephelide defedationes cutis sunt que maxime in facie apparent plus feminis, Cor. cel.

Translation:

Pimples, lentil-shaped eruptions and freckles or rough spots are blemishes of the skin which appear mostly in the face and more so with women, says Cornelius Celsus.

Commentary:

Simon here alludes to Celsus, 6, 5, ed. Spencer (1935-8: II.182) Paene ineptiae sunt curare varos et lenticulas et ephelidas, sed eripi tamen feminis cura cultus sui non potest, which Spencer translates (1935-8: II.183) "To treat pimples and spots and freckles is almost a waste of time, yet women cannot be torn away from caring for their looks".
