Translation:

Ydatodes is Greek for Latin aquaticus {"watery"}, pluvialis {"rainy"}.


Commentary:

Greek {ὑδατώδης}, ὑδατῶδες /{hydatṓdēs,} hydatôdes/ means "watery; full of water", displaying the later Greek sound changes: /h/ is dropped; υ > ι {/y/ > /i/}.
