Ystera is the Greek word for the female genital, the womb.

ὑστέρα /hystéra/ is the Greek word for "womb", /istéra/ in its medieval Greek pronunciation. The Greek word is occasionally used in late and medieval Latin rather than uterus or matrix, often in the form of istera or stera. The euphemism locus in the sense of "private parts (esp. of women)" is generally used in the plural: loci but also loca.
